Terms of Service
Ensuring a clear understanding between Peak & Stow and our valued clients for a seamless, organized journey.
Last updated: October 24, 2023. We believe in transparency. That's why we've outlined our mutual commitments below.
Agreement Overview
By engaging with Peak & Stow for professional home organization, decluttering solutions, and space planning, you are entering into a binding agreement. We\u2019re committed to transforming your space, but we need to establish the ground rules first. Why is this important? Because a clear framework protects your home and our team\u2019s expertise.
Cancellation Policies
We value your time and our organizers' schedules. If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, we require at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
Don't worry, we understand that life in New York can be unpredictable. We'll always try to accommodate emergencies where possible.
Liability Limitations
While Peak & Stow handles every item with extreme care, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or the natural wear and tear of items being moved or sorted. Our liability regarding the handling of personal property is limited to the cost of the session for that day. We recommend that highly valuable or sentimental items be managed personally by the client during decluttering sessions.
Have you considered insurance for your high-value collections before the decluttering begins?
Payment & Project Completion
Payment for services is due upon completion of each session unless otherwise agreed upon in a custom storage design proposal. We accept major credit cards and electronic transfers. Please note that custom supply costs (bins, hangers, shelving systems) are billed separately from labor hours.
